Wonderful from start to finish.

that wonderful handsome technician took good care of my truck

I had a recall on my Chevy Silverado 1500 for a ground strap. While it didn't seem like a major issue, I wanted it taken care of since it was a recall. I had already visited Terry Labonte Chevrolet in Greensboro, where they confirmed the part was needed but didn't have it in stock. So I decided to go to the Emporia dealership instead. I called ahead and spoke with a woman who said she needed to verify everything. She went ahead and scheduled an appointment, and I received a text confirmation with the date and time. When I arrived, the service advisor asked if I had confirmed the part was in stock — and sure enough, it wasn't. At that point, my wife and I had already driven 20 miles to drop off my vehicle since I had to work the next day. That meant two vehicles making the round trip — 80 miles total between the two of us. And gas isn't cheap. Despite the inconvenience, no one offered so much as an apology, let alone any compensation for the wasted time and fuel. If the part wasn't available, that's understandable — but don't schedule an appointment and have me drive out there for nothing. To make matters worse, I had to come back on another day, adding yet another 40-mile round trip. I chose Emporia because I'm not comfortable with the Chevy dealership here in Roanoke Rapids, and I didn't want to drive all the way to Rocky Mount. I thought Emporia would be the better option, but unfortunately, the experience proved otherwise.

Great place to take your vehicle for service or warranty work . Also a great place to purchase a new or used vehicle .

The mechanic did not complete the diagnosis I requested. I explained that my transmission was acting strangely, but they claimed the issue was with my spark plug and wires. Furthermore, the transmission passed the inspection, as expected, since there were no warning lights indicating any failures. Unfortunately, they did not listen to my concerns as the customer.

The representative checking me in for my appointment was courteous and professional. The service was completed within the hour. Additional service recommendations were discussed with me prior to the work being done. /bwe

Would highly recommend, 5 star service across the board from him and his service team down in Emporia. Have not experienced such great hospitality at other locations like I have at this one!

The folks at Boyd are great to work with. Wonderful customer service, efficient and accommodating. Jenny is friendly and professional. I feel like she values the customer's time and keeps the front end of the service dept moving!

The sales person Justin was excellent. The entire process was easy and fast! 3rd car we have bought from Boyd in Emporia.

Everyone was very helpful and it didn't take long to get everything ready for me to drive my car off the lot. especially Wade Prince, who was very patient with me while showing me all the new gadgets.

CARRIED MY TRUCK IN FOR AN OIL SENSOR REPLACEMENT ORIGINALLY QUOTED $566 +OR- HAD TO DO DIAGNOSES I DIDN'T NEED FOR $178.00 THEN TOLD IT WOULD BE $808.00. I CAN NOT AFFORD THAT.
